鐘馗，是中國民間傳說中的賜福鎮(zhèn)宅圣君。中國著名的漢族民間神之一，后來被道教納入神仙體系，他的主要職能是捉鬼，還可納福、招財(cái)。白澤作為鐘馗的坐騎，根據(jù)《山海經(jīng)》的記載，“東望山有獸，名曰白澤，能言語，王者有德，明照幽遠(yuǎn)則至。”白澤是一種具有驅(qū)魔鎮(zhèn)邪能力的靈瑞神獸，能通曉古今之事，并會(huì)說人言，據(jù)說擁有白澤可以消除妖魔。白澤的主人是能打鬼驅(qū)邪的神鐘馗，鐘馗常騎著白澤出現(xiàn)，并為人們帶來正義與善良的力量。
